Before I looked into and researched for other artist statements I think I already had quite a good idea of what should be included in one. It has helped me reading other artist statements as I have viewed a range of good ones and bad ones and it has been good to see this. I feel I have everything I need within my artist statement including my background and how I got into what I do, what I do and how I do it. I don’t really think the length of the artist statement depicts if it is good or not just as long as it includes these things I have just stated because most of the artist statements I have read have been quite short only being a few hundred words apart from two.
